Made to impress and set to last, the seven wonders of the ancient world had the classical writers marvel on their size, advanced technology, and legends associated with their making. As early as Herodotus, ancient writers composed different lists of “must-sees”. Now, a little more than two millennia past the age of Philo, these are the seven untold facts on the original Seven Wonders of the ancient world.
