The famous Trojan War was a topic that inspired in many ways the world of arts. Artists from various fields, depicted the “Sack of Troy” in vases, sculptures, water jars, drinking cups, mosaics, frescoes, narrated it in poems and the history survived throught the years.
Scenes from the wars, such as the judgement of Paris to Patroklos’s funeral, the duel between Hector and Ajax, the sacrifice of Polyxena are just a few examples of the historical facts that happened at the city of Troy and are illustrated in arts.
